Daisy yawned as she scrolled through the cryogenics files, absently drumming at the high glass desk with her long nails. She had taken an afternoon shift, so she could be with Sam in the evening. It had become a boring job, however. All contact with clients and their families was now digital, and hardly anyone still came by the reception.
Daisy stifled another yawn as she skimmed through the files. Her eyes were starting to feel a little heavy.
Suddenly, a familiar name caught her attention.
Lavinia Baranova.
Could it be…? No, it couldn’t. Daisy shook her head and almost ignored the file. Then she scrolled back and took a deep breath before opening the file.
She gasped as she saw the pictures on file. “Oh my God!” she uttered in horror.
